Jason Derulo - Ridin' Solo
The choreography is really good and also the fact he came out of a relationship he's showing an inspirational message as he's practically fine and is "ridin' solo" so he's telling his story in the song.

Ne-Yo - Miss Independent
In this video i like the fact he's surrounded by hard working sophisticated video instead of the usual stereotyped half dressed girls throwing themself onto the guy.
Also the video is clearly linked with the song.

Pink - Perfect
I like the fact this is an insprational song for everyone and tells a story in the video about the song.
It also tells you the story from her past childhood whilst reminising about it and she sings it to her child at the end.

Chris Brown - Turn Up The Music
I like this video because of all the crazy and very acrobatic dance moves.
It also has a party theme with the music as they're in a club were poeple are dressed up as if its a masquerade party.
The fact its in a dark place with colourful lights flashing about really gives it that night time clubbing scene.

Rita Ora - How We Do

This is a very fun and hyper active video which shows that they are having a good time as she clearly says "party".
Has loads of bright vibrant colours which goes with the convention of this party themed music video.

Advertising Coursework: Part one

Fiat 500 by Gucci

In the adverts the model is laying on the car in a sexual position. She crosses one of her leg over the other. This is to attract attention of the targetted audience and therefore they will be forced to look at the car which they may then like the look of it and all the features which come with it, then afterwards buy the car.

As she is posing in a sexual position, her facial expression is also sexual. Her mouth is slightly open with a pout which shows this picture is sexual. No normal person would do that whilst taking a picture, so she is doing this on purpose to reel the target audience in. Usually when poeple look at pictures they look at the face first, so her making a facial expression will be what attracts the targetted audience.

The location of this advert is in a black room, with a reflected shiny flooring, which has light shining upon the car from an angle. This is so that the colour of the car which is black is matching the location which gives it more of an effect with the reflective shiny surface that makes the advert look expensive. Whereas if it was to be clashing colours this would make the advert looks tacky and cheap.

The storyline to this car is basically if you buy this car, you can bag yourself a girl as the car looks smart, expensive and also it looks very safisticated as its small but fashionable.

The costume she is wearing is very revealing and sexual as her zip us dress is unzipped half way down her body and also most of her legs is showing and wearing high heels with it to give her that edgy look. By this you know the car is aimed at male adult population as they are using a female model to pose on the car to make them look at the picture twice and therefore will buy it.

The prop used in this advert is a chain which is used to give it that expensive look to go with the product as the car is expensive as the designer is Gucci. This is to show this product is for more sophisticated, A class people as the picture itself looks very pricey.

The colours used is mostly black. The picture was taken in black and white as its simple but effective. The only bit which is in colour is the green and red colour scheme of the Gucci company. This is to identify the car as their product; so then as Gucci is a well known designer, people will therefore buy this product knowing it is a high quality car.

Name of the product which is 'Fiat 500 by Gucci'. Just by hearing the designer label which it is made by (Gucci), it automatically makes the product seem rich as Gucci company is a world wide known designer brand. So poeple will think if they own this car they'll seem high status and A class standard as the poeple in that catergory would usually wear this designer brand.

The slogan in this advert was Fiat 500 by Gucci. It's simple but effective. This is because so the advert can be taken seriously. So keeping it simple makes it become more saphisticated.

The font used is curvy and its slanted slightly to the right side, joined which makes it look a bit french. This makes it look more classy and also its a silver and looks shiny which can catch the viewers attention.

Camera shot is from a top angle which may show the model in the image is being looked down upon.

The appeal used is sex appeal as she is dressed in a very seductive way. This is to make men believe that buying this car will help them attract ladies.

Target audience profile

This productly aimed at men as it has a female model laying across the product.

More for the male population age between 20-30 as its a desinger brand as the younger adult population tend to wear desingers as their jobs help them afford it. Can be for any ethnicity as their is not a particular group of people this car is aimed at.

They would be working in a high paid job such as a lawyer, doctors, barrister as the Gucci brand is very expensive so they would need to earn good money to afford it.

The socail class was be class A, as mostly rich people would purchase this product hence the fact Gucci is also linked in the product.

They would shop at places such Ralph Lauren, Hollister, Top man, Selfridges and such places as these. They would eat at posh resturants as they got the money to eat there and would read business magazines as they would be quite saphisticated people. Would watch films such as grease and romantic comedies as they are young adults.

The demographic for this would be yuppie's as its young urban professional as these people would be working in high paid jobs.
